screen resolution problem

Hiya,

Every time I log in, the font is large and the picture/colour quality of the
screen is low. I keep changing it in display properties...then...settings. It
is then fine..till I log off..then when I log in again the screen resolution
returns to being too large and low colour quality. I have already changed the
settings and re-started the computer. I have changed the settings and applied
them. I also tried going back to the old driver, but still it changes back to
low quality everytime I log in.
So now I have to change the screen resolution settings everytime I log in.
Will restoring original/factory settings help, if so how do I do that?
Or is it the driver maybe?
this doesnt happen to any of the other users..just me :-(

Cheers in advance

The fix that Kelly pointed you to is a .reg file. Copy and save the
text of the fix on Kelly's site to a Notepad file and then save it as a
..reg file. Then double click or right click on the .reg file and merge
it to the registry, the information in the file will automatically be
entered in your registry.

It is the title (or words from the description) of the tweak on her
website that she referenced. Click that URL and go to line 54, right
side.

John,
Just *download* that .REG file. Then merge it to the registry.
There is no text of the fix on Kelly's site to be copied to any Notepad
file, to be then saveed as a .reg file!

Hi there,

I tried Kelly's link, but it didnt work. So after messing about on my PC for
a while I looked into my MSN. MSN automatically loads when I log in (I should
have considered this before). So I unticked the auto log in box..and guess
what? I dont have the problem anymore! My comp is faster to load too and the
screen resolution is how it should be. Thanks for all your help anyway.

M :)

Hope this helps someone else, who may have probs with their screen
resolution..check your MSN!
