Cannot Archive Inbox

Hello,

I have a client who regularly archives large portions of her inbox by going
File > Archive, setting the date and hitting OK. Everything before the date
would be sent to the specified archive (PST).

Recently this stopped working at all. She does the same thing, Outlook says
it is archiving for a few seconds then...nothing. No emails have been
moved.

Her normal archive sits on a network drive, so I tried a brand new empty
archive on her C: drive, with no luck.

She has two computers, and this problem happens on both.

She can, however, archive her Sent Items in this manner. Just not her
inbox.

I'm stumped, my team is stumped...does anyone out there have an idea?

AutoArchive doesn't use the Received date as its criterion tor moving an
item, it uses the Modified date, which you usually don't see. That is by
far the largest reason why autoarchive doesn't work as people expect. Try
adding the Modified date to the Inbox header line and compare it to your
archive settings.

You run a risk of corrupting your PST by keeping it on a network drive.
Network-hosted PSTs are not supported by Microsoft.
