Cannot add image to signature!!!

C

Cherrybounce

I am using Outlook 2003. I am trying to add an image to my signature.
WHen I go into options, mail format, signatures, advanced edit, it
opens WordPad, not Word, and WordPad doesn't allow me to insert
anything. IF I click on browse and try to use a WOrd file, it will
only allow me to use a .txt file, which of course, does not include
images either. What am I doing wrong?

Change your default HTML-editor in Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab
Programs

Note that Word generates a lot of "junk" HTML code. If you know some HTML I
recommend you code it yourself or use a different HTML-editor like
FrontPage.

The tag for an image is <img> For instance;
<img border="0" src="pictures/signature.gif" width="100" height="32"
alt="signature">
