Signature hyperlink display

I am using Outlook 2000. I want to create a signature that contains a
mailto: hyperlink. Advanced edit opens the signature file in Word 2000. I
add my name with a hyperlink of mailto:[email protected] In Word it displays
my name as Lyle and it is underlined and blue, so far so good. When I save
this and return to Outlook Signature Picker it displays as Lyle
<mailto:[email protected]> How do I hide the <mailto:[email protected]> part?
It did not display it in word, but in outlook it does.

Hi Lyle,

so please open your signature,

Type LEA in it
mark LEA
right click and choose the option process hyperlink.
There you can choose mailto and insert your email adress

Yes I know that this is how you create a hyperlink in the signature. When I
try to use it, it displays as "Lyle <mailto:[email protected]>" on the email.
This whole thing is a hyperlink. What I want it to display as is "Lyle" and
have that be a hyperlink... Any more ideas???

Thanks

My screens look different. But this is not the issue. I know how to create
the hyperlink for the email address. And it works when I do create it. What
I want to change is how it looks on the email. I am using Outlook 2000.
When I create the signature it looks like this:

Lyle Murray <mailto:[email protected]>

This works, but I don't want it to look like that.
I want it to look like this:

Lyle Murray

and still be a hyperlink. If I do this on a PC with Outlook 2003 it works
just like I want it to, but in Outlook 2000 it doesn't display right. The
email I sent you has screen shots of what my screens look like.
