cannot access website error message now appears

About a week ago i could access the yahoo auction site and now i cannot get
in at all. I know get just an error message saying the site is unavailable
technically. please help

Hi,
Search for a HOSTS file (no extension.) It may be a hidden file. Enable the
viewing of hidden files from Folder Options> View. Rename the HOSTS file to
HOSTS.OLD

Next, clear the cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content.) It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Check for malware. Try CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot and the other at
programs named and
