Go to your network connections, right click on the network card, choose
properties, then on the general tab, click "Confogure" against the "connect
using" box. On the Power Management tab, check to see if the box marked
"Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" is checked. If so,
uncheck it, and see if that helps

If you added a new network card for sbc try removing it,run computer,it'll
probably shutdown fine.Problem is conflicting hardware, try adjusting in
BIOS,network adapter,disable on-board.

im running xp home and didnt see anything for it on the web site is there
another that deals with home?
