Can text boxes be linked in PowerPoint?

I have to create a somewhat lengthy presentation, and would like text boxes
to flow from one page to the next. Is there a way to link the text boxes
(like in Publisher) so this can happen? There will be no special effects or
animation. These are very straightforward. It would just be very helpful if
they would link.

Thank you in advance to anyone who responds!

Unfortunately, text does not flow from one slide to another during creation.
You can only put so much text on a slide. You can have a very smooth
transition from slide to slide during a slideshow.

You can do all the work in Word if you just using text in the outline
format, then use the function in word, to send to PowerPoint You still can
only put so much text on a slide.

One thing you can do is to let the text box stretch beyond the side, then
apply a motion path effect to scroll it up

Otherwise, if I'm building a show, I'll use the Outliner to dump the text in
and then split it out to slides.
