Strange antialising of text with custom animations

Babymech

For some reason Powerpoint displays text differently depending on whether the
text is animated or static. The same text (same size, same formatting, same
font) is rendered in a subtly different way when there's an animation effect
linked to it - even if it's not currently animating. This becomes very
aggravating when I have two text boxes next to each other, the one containing
static text and the other containing text with an entrance animation - they
look noticeably different when compared side by side. How can I solve this?

Thanks.

Hi,

I think the bad news is, upgrade. You could convert text to images but you
lose the effects that go with text. Someone else might have an idea.

Hi

Hope this helps anyone with this problem of having jagged text in powerpoint

I was having the same problem with my powerpoint presentations too, the text
was looking jagged when any animation was put on it. After alot of trial and
error I figured out what the problem is. If you take the bullets out of your
text, then you can add any custom animation to your text and it doesn't look
jagged anymore. As soon as you add the bullets back you get jagged text. So
bottom line the bullet points is what's causing the problem

Thanks,
Jason B.
