can some1 plz help me out, i want to know whats the best zip or compresser program
i need to format my c:, so i wanna save some big info and i want to know what zip or compress program is the best(by best i mean which 1 makes smaller,well done and its faster on its process of compressing

When integrity matters, do not compress. You
want to be able to test the newly recorded data
before formatting the source file drive. Your best
bet is a CD writer or a 2nd hard drive.

I agree about the CD backup being preferable. To answer the zip program question, I use WinRAR. That and WinZip are probably the best
