Hi Everyone !

My 2nd machine running W2k is now connected to the
internet through my 1st machine running Wxp pro
configured as Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). I tried
to create email account for my W2k as I am allowed by my
ISP to 5 email accounts. I went to the Outlook Express.
From Tools > Accounts > Mail > Add... I created an
account. Now when I sent an email to my Wxp, it's fine.
But I can't receive any email. A password request dialog
box keeps poping up and at the end I get the error
message:

"There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your
password was rejected." It goes on to add: "Server
error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92"

The email I send as a test from my XP to W2k returns
undelivered.

And yes I used an inimaginable user name account.

Can anyone else please help?

Brian

exactly what it says. there's something wrong in the
setup, maybe the user name and/or password. also check
your POP3 might be mispelled.
