Can see files in W Explorer but cannot in Frontpage. Thanks.

I put picture files (.jpg) into folders in my website using Windows Explorer.
When I open Frontpage to use the files they are not shown - Front page says
the folder is empty. Using properties it is clear that there is content in
the folder, and yet they do not show up. Thanks for any constructive help.

In FP run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
(so FP can reread the site contents)
- FP has no idea what you added outside of FP
- next time to add files to a FP site, open the site in FP and use File Import

Oops. Hit send too soon.

Anyway, try recalculating hyperlinks (tools, recalculate hyperlinks, click
OK on the stupid "this may take a few" message).

FrontPage uses indexing files to show you what is in there. If you have
used windows explorer to add or remove files and did not refresh the
indexing files by recalculating hyperlinks, you will not see those files.

Oh, and, in general it's not a good idea to mess around with the FP files
directly. YRMV
