Safari cannot see the images on my web page created with FrontPage

Maybe someone knows the answer to this:

I have developed my web site in FrontPage. When users view the web site with
Explorer, all is fine. When they view the web site with Safari (Mac), none of
the images load. I know why the images don't load: because Safari can't find
them. The weird thing, neither can I when I use FrontPage to browse
directories.

But, when I go through My Computer, I can find all of the images and the
appropriate folders that I created for the web pages. They are there. Clear
as day. When I go into FrontPage and bring up the directory in which the
images are supposed to be, I cannot find the directory or the images. To
FrontPage, it is as if the images don't exist. Hence, when I upload to my web
server, the images are not appearing to be uploaded.

But why would an Explorer web browser find the images if they do not exist?
They must exist, right? Explorer can find them, but Safari (and myself using
FrontPage cannot). So, I tried a trick.

Aaaah, but here is when it gets weirder: so I figured I would just make a
new folder in FrontPage (with the appropriate name and location to which
Safari is looking to find the images) and then go into My Computer and copy
and paste the disappearing images into this new folder. Sneaky, yes. I
figured I would just force the issue and upload images to where Safari is
looking for them. But no, it won't work, because even though FrontPage won't
list the folders and files, it thinks they are there--it stops my operation
saying it could have to create a duplicate folder.

The breakdown: I can't see them. FrontPage won't show them. Safari can't
see them. Explorer can see them. My Computer can show them.

Show hidden files? I have already done that. They are not hidden anyway.

I am at a loss. Have you experienced this?

Sounds like you did not actually create a web/site but a bunch of loose
pages scattered about your hardrive somewhere(?)
All your web files should exist within a special folder that FP creates
where you tell it to on your hardrive, this folder will have a blue globe on
it.

Is your web on the web also...if so; post the URL.

What is the name of the folder that FrontPage hides? If it of the form
pagename_files then it will be permanently hidden in FrontPage.
What is the name (and extension) of one of the images?
