Can Outlook 2003 be used as a Personal Journal ?

I am wanting to use ONE program that will solve BOTH my organizational AND
personal record requirements. After an initial look at Outlook 2003...its
seems that it is NOT geared to be used as a Personal Journal or Diary!

I'm thinking that I may have to look into purchasing a separate Diary
Program...I just with that Outlook could do the job. Can Word be integrated
with Outlook in this way?

I'll be looking forward to any helpful ideas or tools that anyone may have...

Outlook 2003 does have a Journal feature that allows you to keep notes and
associate those notes with contacts, and files. If you just want to use it
as a Journal that is possible also. It will record the time and day of the
entry for you and you can go back and access the old entries at any time.
You can get more information on the Journal in the Outlook Help.

I hope this information is helpful.
