Exporting Outlook Journal Entries from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 200

I purchased a new laptop and want to move all my contacts and journal entries
from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007. I have read how to import the .PST files
from Outlook 2003 to 2007 but can find no mention of journal entries. I have
seen posts that describe how to move contacts and journal entries from one
Outlook 2003 to another (move the .PST file and put in same location on other
machine) and journal entries will migrate. How do you move journal entries
from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007? I may have to stay on Outlook 2003 since
my journal entries are important. Any help is appreciated.

Never export from or import to a PST. There's no need and you lose data,
journal connections being among that data.

Never put a PST in the default location unless you use great care not to
overwrite any existing PST. Outlook doesn't really care where you place a
PST, so you can put it in any folder you want. See this:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm . By copying the
entire PST and reusing it, journal data should be preserved.
