Can Outline View be defaulted?

Can Outline View be defaulted to open as Show Heading 1 in lieu of Show All
when a document is first opened?

Not that I know of, but you should be able to use a macro. Try recording these
actions in a macro named AutoOpen. Be sure to save the macro in this
particular document (list box at the bottom of the dialog box).

- Switch to Outline view
- Show Heading 1

The macro should execute when you open the document and perform these actions.
