I have set up my account exactly like I did on a different computer that has
outlook 2003 on it, but whenever I try to sign in, I keep getting another
sign in window after each attempt to sign in.

Windows Mail doesn't require you to sign in, but it will pass along
requests from your email servers to sign in.

Are you entering your username with no CAPITAL LETTERS? Have
you tried it both followed and not followed by the part of your email
address starting with @? Are you sure you're entering CAPITAL and
lowercase letters in the correct places in your password? Some email
servers are picky about details like these.

After a couple of attempts, click Cancel, which should then pop up
an error message. Right-click on that, copy, then paste it into a
reply here.

What kind of account are you trying to access?
It sounds like what happens when you try to access a free Yahoo account, but
you don't have access to the POP server.

Account: 'Email', Server: 'mail.websrvcs.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR Authentication failed.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server
Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

this is the first of about four error messages that come up.

No, I am not signing in as a yahoo account. I am trying to get into an
account that is attached to a website that I run.

I have tried doing all of those things.

If you don't quote the messages you're replying to, many of that
read the newsgroup through Windows Mail have a hard time
going back to all the previous messages to see what you've been
told already.

I have tried doing all of these things, and yet it is still not working. It
just keeps asking for me to type in my username and password.

1. First try this. Delete that mail account, restart Windows Mail, then
recreate that account from scratch. The account may have become corrupt
due to running a non-compatible antivirus.

2. If that did not fix the problem, uninstall your antivirus, reboot, then repeat
step (1). If that resulted in improvement, we can recommend a free
antivirus that is more compatible with Windows Mail.

I just tried this, and it also did not help. But thankyou for the suggestion.
