Can not open .msg attachment in a forward email

Outlook 2003 for some reason is not allowing me to open up a .msg attachment
that was the original message in a forwarded email.

Everytime we try to open it we get the error "The object can not be found."

Everyone else can open the attachments but this is the only computer we are
having problems with. The attachment is also one that you find in the body of
the email to give you a little more information on what attachment I am
talking about.

Anyone have any ideas???

Make sure the client is patched to current revision.

Can you right-click the attachment and choose Save?

I am having this same problem. We thought it was due to our RightFax add-in,
which was causing other problems. So we unchecked that option. But the
issue persists. If I "Save As" the attachment, it will open from Windows
Explorer.
