Can not install the software of Xbox Wireless Controller for Windo

Can not install the software of Xbox Wireless Controller for Windows Vista
Ultimate 32 bits. When I try to install the software a "non expected error"
appears and the installation is aborted.
Any help?

No, this web page is mainly devoted to the Xbox console not to Windows PC.
By the way, I got the Software 1.1 32-bit for Windows Vista that is the
current one in the support page. The software do not install on my PC.

Disable your antivirus software, then reboot and retry installing the
software.

This is the solution to my problem. Previously I disabled my antivirus but i
did not reboot my PC. Now, following your recomendation, I disabled AND
rebooted and the software installed perfectly.
