Can not Install DirectX

After formatting my PC and re-installing Windows XP Home, I am not able to
install any version of DirectX. While installing its giving an error message
that "This program is not validated by XP Logo" and it exits. The DirectX I
am trying to upgrade from Microsoft update site of Windows security upgrade
CD. Every time I am getting the same message.
