Can not access some websites

There are some websites that I can't get onto. Is there
anything that I can check?? Any sugestions.

Can you please list the websites that you are unable to access? Is it a
secured site?

Mainly any AntiVirus websites. I had a virus, and I
bought it to a repair store, and they cleaned it off. But
now I can't access the Symantec site or McAfee sites. I
have scanned againfor viruses, but Norton's not finding
anything more.
 
Some virus will create this file to block the suppliers.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
