https Specific website access problem

Hi there,
I have a problem accessing a specific website (https://www.creditline.co.uk)
all the users on the network get (website not found) when trying to access
the web site.
any other https website works fine.
and it's not a problem with the website itself cos I can access it from home.
I have checked ISA settings and there is no blocking rules.
and I have tried to use internet Explorer with and without proxy settings
and in both cases I can't access this specific website from within the
company network.

Any help please?

Hi M.B :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Cannot browse certain websites
http://www.dslreports.com/faq/10082

or..

Go to the following and open with Notepad,
C:\WINDOWS\HOSTS (the one with no extension (not the .SAM one)
then delete any listing reference for the site you are trying to open.
Then Save and close.

Also..... try adding the site to your Trusted Zone.

If you have Zone Alarm, you might also check the Trusted area there too:

If you have any third party toolbars or ad/popup blockers installed, try
disabling them and see if that helps.

Hope this helps.

I have checked the HOSTS file and there is no entry for that website.
I've tried to add the web site to the trusted sites and disabled pop-ups
blocker
I still get (Web site can not be found).

could it be something to do with the ISP?

regards.

Hi M.B :)

Could be. You might check with them and see if they have a problem with
that site.
