can i use my Publisher 2002 for Win XP on a Win 2000 system?

I have been given an unopened version of Publisher 2002 for Win XP but I
want to know before I open it if I can use it on my Window 2000 system.

Publisher 2002 for XP or Publisher XP because 2002 = XP. There
shouldn't be a version just for XP, it SHOULD install fine.
