can i move office xp to another computer?

my laptop is dieing and i just bought a desktop. will i have any problems
loading and registering office xp on the desktop if i remove it from the
laptop?
 
Assuming that you have the installation CDs, you'll be able to install it on
another machine. You cannot "move" it though.

It may fail to register automatically (since it's already been registered once)
so you might have to call MS' 800 number to get it taken care of, but it
shouldn't be a big deal. Depending on the version you have, you may be
entitled to install it on both a laptop and a desktop anyhow.

You may instal it but for the registration you must go for MIcrosoft
Customcare as you may have to buy a EULA End User License Agreement.
