Can I Have Windows ME back

I remember when I could play games on my computor, until I bought a new one
with this XP crap on it. Now no Rocky Mountain Hunter II, no other games will
work (i.e. all the ones that played fine with ME) Software compatibilty YEAH
RIGHT does not work. Why Does Microsoft keep putting out trash. I'm going to
call HP about my computor and let them know either replace this with ME or
return my money.

I tried all that and nothing worked The program ran fine under "98" & "ME"
but would not run under xp The program to config. the game under your
computor worked but when you clicked on the game exe it said this is not a
valid win 32 application.

do you have another Backup copy of the Game..?
Not a Valid Win32 Application usually means a Corupted EXE FILE

Have the manufacturer's web site got a patch/update so as the game will run

One way that might work:

install the game in compatibility mode.
1. create a shortcut to the installation on your desktop (right click the
file and choose 'sent to desktop'
2. right click the short cut and choose your compatibility
3. click ok and run the short cut

I just put ME back on my computer, it is fast, very fast.

As someone have posted there is a windows compatability system built
into Xp, but it do not always work.

As for HP putting ME on your computer, I doubt they got any copies of ME
around to do that., but you can always buy a copy of ME from ebay or
something like that and install it yourself.
But and this is the problem, reformting to fat 32 is a problem, but it
can be done and also you may not be able to get some drivers for ME.
