Can I get rid of the welcome screen

I have recently been getting a welcome screen when the
computer starts up. How can I get rid of that?

Also, A folder showing system 32 files opens up when the
machine starts up - how do stop that from happenning?

1) Open User Accounts in Control Panel.

2) Click Change the way users log on or off.

3) Uncheck Use Welcome Screen
