Can I expand the QuickLaunch bar?

Is it possible to expand the QuickLaunch bar to show more than 3 items across
before it dumps the rest of them into the popup menu?
 
Hi

Drag the divider to the right, but that will mean less space for minimized
programs
 
What exactly does this "divider" look like? I can't grab onto anything around
that area that will drag.

There are two upright bars - one either end of Quick Launch. Put your
cursor over the left hand until it changes to two arrow heads. Then drag
the left one to the right to increase the amount of space available to the
Quick Launch Bar.
 
Now I get it -- unlocking the Task Bar does wonders -- thanks for your quick
help!
 
Also, u could expand the taskbar to 3 levels, not just one. Like this u can
see the clock, the day, the date. Just unlock, mouse over top margin, click
and drag to make it 3 levels.

Grab the faint hatched 'handle' on its right side, and carefully drag it
right to show more - of course losing space for other buttons. If you
overdo it, you may get it drop to a lower level, giving QL all the top
half of a double depth task bar
