can I crop in a circle using power point?

I need to crop a picture in a circle. I am trying to paste the head of one
person on the body of a cartoon person. I cannot get rid of the corners when
I crop the picture normally. Is it possible to do what I am trying to do?

The easiest way to do this that I know of is to use paint or your photo
program to "wipe" out the background around the face making it white. Then
when you have the picture in Powerpoint, use the transparency tool (Picture
toolbar) to make the background transparent and voila... instant floating
head
