Precision cropping in PPT2007

How can I do very precise cropping of an image in PPT2007? The
dragging motion does not seem granular enough. I need to get to exact
cm measurements to align a lot of images exactly.
How do you tell PPT to crop 0.12cm from the left side, but keep
everything else the same?

Try:
RIGHT Click on picture > Size & Position
Crop From ....

Enter the value and CLOSE

NB this crops from the original size

presse the space bar
