can hardly see screen!!!

Hi, I've just tested an old monitor I had around that I thought had died. It
seems to actually work now but... the brightness and contrast controls dont
seem to be able to get the screen right at all. If I put them way down (like
now) i can just about see what is on the screen in a heavy fog! If I put them
up at all then everything just goes totally blurred.

When I first tried it I was really impressed and it seemed really nice
quality, now it is rediculous! Is there a setting that I can fiddle with
somewhere or is this monitor just knackered?

Thanks in advance,
Jay

p.s.- sorry for any spelling mistakes but I can hardly see what i'm typing!

sounds knackered to me!! Unless you can find a focus setting and maybe
increase the contrast.

Sounds like you didn't leave it in the "Healing Shed" long enough. I
would suggest that you put it back and leave it be for a couple more
years. On a serious note, you were correct the first time, it's dying
and a waste of time, given the low cost of replacements.

What has this got to do with XP????
