Can EXPLORER remember open folders in the FOLDERS pane

There are a number of folders that I use frequently.
Can explorer be made to remember the open folder tree
structure in the left side pane when a new instance of
explorer is opened.

Hi Tom,

You can set Explorer to open your main folder used and perhaps, add the
others as subs and/or add the others to explorer.exe to be minimized to the
Taskbar upon boot.

1. Right click Windows Explorer/Properties and type this into the Target
path:

d:\ can be modified for any folder/sub-folder you like. As in:
%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /e,d:\My Stuff

2. Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Shell: explorer.exe, d:\more stuff, d:\even more stuff

Only by having separate shortcuts to explorer, with the properties of
each set so the target is a different folder. In which case you can
make shortcuts to the folders themselves by r-drag to the desktop and
take Create Shortcut, which is what I do
