Just recently I have not been able to paste an .jpg image
from well known internet sites (have tried many sites). In
the past the image could by right clicked and copied then
put to a folder on my computer again right clicked on the
mouse and then this time paste the .jpg image. I have only
been able to right click and; "save image as" which is
a .bmp file 3 or 4 time the size.
Went into the tools menu on the Explorer bar and made sure
that the: Internet Options: Security Tab, Custom Level
setting, the "Drag and Drop or Copy and Paste file" was
ENABLED. Still NO luck!
I have Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106, O.S. Windows 2000
Professional 5.00.21.95 Service Pack 4. I have disabled
Zone Alarm Pro 5.0.590.15 & Norton Anti-virus 2003 Pro
9.05.15.
But something has changed in the past few weeks to put
halt the copy and paste issue. Any helpful suggestions?

The usual fix for getting only a bitmap option instead of a jpeg is to
clear your cache, so try that.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.

Thanks, Should of known that, but I just cleaned it up
just over a month ago, but it was full to its allowable
file size in temp. storage.
