Can an Outlook 2003 custom signature be used in 2007?

Hi,

For a client I created a custom signature for Outlook 2003 with HTML,
RTF, and TXT versions. They were put into the Signatures folder and
enabled through the Outlook 2003 interface and it worked perfectly.
The HTML table with all its inline CSS was wonderful.

The client has now moved to Outlook 2007. The three signature files
were moved to the desktop and put into a folder. We cannot figure out
how to enable the signature. I have read a few tutorial and watched
the Lynda.com Outlook 2007 custom signatures video and cannot see how
to enable a custom HTML signature. It looks like the only options are
a WYSIWYG editor to create the signature or attach a business card
which we don't use.

Can anyone help me out here...I'm a Mac guy and don't have Outlook
2007 to mess around with for testing.

Thanks alot!

It's the same process for Outlook 2007; just put the files in the Signatures
folder.
They will then show up when the Signatures button is pressed as well in
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format-> Signatures...

Note that because of the design/support and rendering engine changes in
Outlook 2007 the signature might look a bit less wonderful and requires some
tweaking.

Thats odd....I sent the 2003 install instructions and they guy said he
could get it to work. I'll reiterate the procedure. My bad for taking
his word that it didn't work. Thanks!
