Having just (after much drama) installed Norton Internet
Security 2004 I now find I cannot Login to my ISP without
disabling the Firewall.
This sort of defeats the purpose a bit!
I cannot connect at all without doing this - I get an
error 2033E regarding authentication of host.
Are there any known conflicts between NIS 2004 and XP
(home edition) or any work arounds that can help. I do
not have a network or anyhing grand, just an ordinary old
desktop.
Incidentally, I cannot activate the XP Firewall as there
is some problem with WMI.
Hope somebody can help.
