C-media

I don't like the c-media icon in the sys tray. I've done searches for it
and it seems to be hidden well. Is it a DLL file activated by the regs?
What is it? Do I need it? I don't run games, is that it's main function?
If I do need it, which HKEY will run it but not put the icon in the tray?

It has to do with your sound card. Usually there is just an option to not
display it or try msconfig.
