DJ,
Your problem sounds suspecious, as if you are attempting
to gain access to an account that you have no business in.
I have experiance in IT and PC Administration and I hear
this all the time from snoopers. But if that is not the
case here's the problem.
You are the supervisor, therefore, you should have some
proceedure to supervise your employees work. And they
should also be supplied with an agreement stating that all
work done on business PC's is primary property of the
business and that an authorized agent of the business has
full rights and permission to access all data on all PC.
You then need to back this up with a proceedure to access
such data. One such proceedure is, if you don't have an IT
Department is to give your account administrative access.
If you do have an IT Department, you must make your
administrator your best friend and take good care of him.
Do not give him any reason to hurt you. (like changing
account access before leaving). Well, good luck in the
future!
