Bypassing the Logon to Windows 2000 screen

I am having trouble at the Logon to Windows screen. I have Windows 2000. My
logon to Winows user name was accidently changed to Administrator and I do
not remember the password I previously used for Administrator. Is there a
way to bypass the Logon to Windows screen or to use a generic user name and
password in order to get into my computer. Obviously, I can do nothing!!
Help!!!

Have a look at the item "Windows Log In", posted in this group
a few hours before your post.

Windows 2000 is a reasonbly secure operating system.
Allowing a "generic" user name and password would defy
any installed security measure. However, if you have physical
access to a Win2000/XP PC then there are ways of resetting
the administrator's password.

What are the details of;
"My logon to Windows user name was accidentally changed to Administrator"
Try overtyping your username and password.
