Button Links do not work on IE - please help

Hey guys,
I posted this yesterday but didn't get any response

Whenever I try to press a button like this

to download a file, nothing happens. On NN7 it does open. I believe it has
something to do with java/javascript that im missing

Any help will be much appreciated.
