But but but it didn't work!

I tried to do exactly what you said to fix the same problem, but the
ReadyBoost tab had no options; it only told me to remove the existing
cache, but I can't! Arrrgh!! I hate Vista x64!

To whom are you talking and about what?
- we have NO IDEA what you are talking about and to whom you are talking.

You would be far better off however, using a news reader and subscribing to
these news groups direct.

I thought the post would be a reply to the post about ReadyBoost...
Guess not. I have a lot to learn about Google Groups...

Anyway, can you help me out? I'd like to disable ReadyBoost and I
tried doing it by deleting the cache (but the computer won't let me do
that even though I gave it permission to delete the cache) and by
going to the device properties (which won't let me do anything as long
as the cache is there).

A simple Google search came up with:

Not that it matters to me, but that instruction should have been attached to
the link, IMHO.

You're using Windows. With Linux, the search results appear. Try using
Firefox for the link or move up to a real OS like Ubuntu.

For some strange reason the reply from 'Alias' didn't show up in my
collection, but who does he think he is to suggest 'Ubuntu' to me, when he
knows very well, my system setup doesn't tolerate it?
I have no intention to get into a discussion with him any longer.
My 'Windows' have and always will work to my satisfaction.
In my book Alias is a 'Troll'.
End of story.

He's not lying. It opens up full of search results in Firefox. ;-)

I happen to use Firefox and the link opens up in it, but only with the
search site. But by now I don't even care any longer.
Bye,

Harry.

Alias

with Linux your existing programs won't work so if you listen to a RETARD
like Alias, you will be screwed. After all Alias is the Ubuntu Marketing
Department. They get what they pay for: Alias. HA HA HA HA
