i downloaded rc1 for use at home and work. i have a registration key, but
evidentally it is for the home version of vista, not the business version. i
have no idea how i specified which version of vista i would be using. how do
i get a business version registration key?

The downloaded file which you burnt to a DVD contains all versions of Vista.
You specify which version you want to install early on in the installation
process. However, as I understand it, keys are only currently available for 1
of the Home versions and for the 'Ultimate' version. Install the 'Ultimate'
version at work.

1 other point - Vista is still trial software - don't rely on it totally.
Keep you old systems for the time being. Colin

I activated a Home Editions (5538 & 5600) without trouble using the phone
system. Colin

Internet activation can only be done on Ultimate with an Ultimate key, as
CPP users were only issued with ultimate keys. As you found out, a phone
call can be productive for other versions ;)
