RC1: Product Key Not valid for this Version

I tried to activate Windows Vista RC1 - but it tells me that the key i got
from Microsoft is not valid for this Version?!?

I installed Vista RC1 x64 "Business Edition" after Installation i would like
to Activate windows Vista but when i enter the key it tellsm me (in German):
"Der eingegebenen Product Key ist fü diese Edition von Windows Vista nicht
gültig"

so to tranlate it -> wrong Vista edition - for what editions will the key be
good for and can i change the edition after installation ...

Anyway i want to test the "Business" Editition its the only one im
interested in...

Our product keys are valid only for Ultimate Edition.

It's amazing how many people are trying what you tried...You'd think common
sense would prevail...Hmm...An error message gives you the very reason within
its wording...How hard is that to comprehend? I mean really...
