business contacts manager help

When I loaded Microsoft Office Professional Plus Edition 2007 to my computer
it went just fine. But, when I tried to set up the account for OutLook, it
started to ask about configurating Business Contacts Manager. Then I got
error message: "Setup failed to configure the database." I can skip the whole
setup but OutLook asks about it every time I open it. So, what to do? What
could cause this problem?

You installed BCM.

Once that happens, BCM 2007 will keep asking you everytime you start
Outlook until you say yes and configure a database. In earlier
versions, saying no was sufficient. Apparently someone complained that
they'd said no, when they meant yes, so with BCM 2007 it keeps asking
until you say yes. It sort of makes sense. I suspect the algorithm is
something simple like: at startup, if BCM not used, ask user if they
want to use BCM.

If you don't want to use BCM you can uninstall it.

Dumb question..... But, according to the Suite Feature Comparison list
Professional PLUS doesn't actually have BCM, only Professional and a couple
of others. So, how are you able to install that?

I know that my question was dumb because I can't find or uninstall BMC
anywhere. But, IF I don't have BMC in my computer how it keeps asking for it
every time I open OutLook? How to get rid of it if it doesn't exist?

Actually.... I was actually asking the dumb question. Sorry I wasn't as
clear there.

Nothing wrong with your question.
