Business Contact Manager crashes

I continue to get errors when accessing BCM pages. I get an error repeatedly
that BCM could not complete your last action or actions. After a few errors
Outlook crashes. I have disabled COM add ins. I have also seen there might be
issues with Quick Books Pro...we use Pro 2007 and Outlook 2007.

Any help is appreciated

When you restart Outlook with BCM that key is regenerated and the
problem should be gone. Back up the reg key beforehand if you don't
trust me but rest assured I have used this many times without issue.

Thanks for the help you suggested on this issue - I'm very excited to know
there may be a "less than painful" solution to this problem. Forgive my
ignorence, though, how does one go about deleting a registry key? I hope that
answer is just as easy. :)

Can you tell me where I can find that file?
I have these same problems and have doene a search for that file and have
found nothing.
This is very frustrating.

I am having the same problem. I renamed the registry key and it still didn't
correct the issue. I took screen shots if anyone is interested. I am the only
user on this program.

I am having the same issue as well. The "registry fix" is a bit unclear.
here's what I'm doing:

1. Click Start > Run > type "regedit" > click "OK"
2. Navigate to the BCM Business Solutions eCRM regisrty key by expanding:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Business Solutions eCRM

3. At this point, there are three files and three subfolders:
Files:
Name: (Default)
Type:REG-SZ
Data (value not set)

Name: BCMLogging
Type: REG_DWORD
Data: 0x000000ff (255)

Name: ImportExportFilesFolder
Type: REG_SZ
Data: file path

Folders:
3.0
CommandBars
Dashboard

Where exactly is the key I should delete?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've read all these posts and checked out the blog the one user referred us
to. I can easily open the regedit but I cannot find the user info to delete
that this poster suggests we do. I don't think this fix is a real fix
therefore.

Can anyone help us figure out a solution?

Frustrated with Outlook to the max....

Just navigate the registry tree as you would a file system. Don't confuse
CURRENT_USER with LOCAL_MACHINE as is customary in registry tweaks.

Alternatively, run this:

Open up command prompt.
type:
reg export hkcu hkcu.reg
That backs up your hkey_current_user hive
reg delete "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Business Solutions eCRM" /f
That deletes the referenced key
