i am getting a insert a blake disk every time i try burn a dvd-r?
i have tried differant dvd-r's! is it a setting issue?

You cannot copy to DVD with XP, you can copy only to CD. To copy to DVD you
need software such as Nero, Roxio, etc.

I have NTI DVD/CD maker 7. and this says that also says insert blank disk!
?????

If you want watch photos in TV with DVD player, you must convert your
photos to slideshow.
Total video converter http://www.effectmatrix.com can convert photos
to slideshow and burn the converted video to DVD directly.

I don't know NTI DVD/CD maker but this should work.
When it ask to insert a blank disk you need to insert the proper type.
If you are trying to copy to DVD, make sure you have a DVD disk. Not a CD
disk.
Also there is a choice of DVD-R or DVD+R disks. Some can use either -R or +R
while some can only use -R or +R. The most common is -R.

yes using the right type of dvd!
i have the same problem with bioth my laptop and PC!

Many friends recommend Wondershare slideshow software to me. And I
have tried them and find they are real very nice. For example,
Wondershare Flash SlideShow Builder is easy to create customized flash
slideshows with soundtracks and eye-catching effects, together with
your own voice narration, text captions and photo templates. Built in,
exclusive Theme Designer polishes your creativity to customize
animated templates. And Wondershare Flash Album Studio creates fun-to-
watch flash albums for LAZY people. Start with cool predesigned
styles, and apply creative cliparts and effects to turn your show into
something special. You can also show off your slideshows on your WEB,
Blog and Myspace, etc.

You can download them free here

A specific tutorial which guides you use it step by step is here

Hope this helps!
