Burned CD recording on mini/car stereo "NO DISC"

I have been trying everything I can think of, to make these CDs play on the
car stereo. I recently upgraded to XP but still have Nero 5.5 upgrade. When
I had Win98 with Nero, never had a trouble. I have also tried burning with
Windows Media Player, but get the same results. I have never been so PC
challenged before. Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong? Thanks

What format where you ripping and burning in before. My car stereo cannot
handle MP3 and has great difficulty with WMA (default format for Windows
Media Player).

However, I've found that my car stereo has NO problem at all with the Nero
MP4. If you haven't tried that, give it a go.
