playing burned cds

I have been burning cds and can play some of them on my home stereo and
others won't play. I am using the same cd-rs and have not changed any
settings between burning discs. I burned 4 last night and only one will play
on my stereo. Why is that?

Music files come in many different formats such as: WAV, WMA, CDA,
MP3, etc. Your stereo obviously doesn't support the format of some of
your burned CDs. Check the format of the songs using Windows Explorer.
You can copy them to your harddrive and then convert them. Then burn
them to a CD so you can play them. Find out what format is supported by
your stereo (probably CD player). The below converter may of some help.

Some music CDs are DRM (Digital Rights Management) copyright protected.
Though it may seem like they copied, but did not and will not play, including
MP3 music. Of the ones that do not play, copy the music files to your
harddrive
first, then using WMP10's Rip feature them to a CD. Hope it works for you :~)
