Burning MP3 To CD = L/R Volume Fluctuation ?

I burn my mp3 to cd (using nero on xp), and when playing back on the home
stereo, the volume is fluctuating from left to right.

Anyone know how to prevent this ?

I am not familiar with Nero, I use Roxio. Does the sound fluctuate when
playing on the PC? Are your speakers OK on the home unit? In WMP
(media player) you can go to View>Enhancements>and check Crossfading
and Auto Volume leveling. Make sure your speakers are connected correctly.
