Raptors are the harddrives that have 10,000 rpm speed (compared to a "normal" 7,200), very fast boot up speed but max storage of 75GB but thats around $200 (100 pounds)!

I will purchase the harddrive i mentioned then :D Wooo haha

Can't wait to start building :) Going to buy graphics card and the rest once other money has been handed over !!! :)

BEAST of a card i think ALL of you wil agree !!! :)

That certainly is a beast of a card, but if your looking at the top end of the grapics range, why not push the boat out a little further and get a X850

To be honest, this is the first forum i have ever joined and participated in, and I wanted to get a feel for how they work, as I'm building one for my university society. It's great here, you're all really friendly. It is good that we can all share our opinions and learn new stuff from each other. I would love for my forum to have such a great community when we get it up and running. :)

Err - i believe theres a PE version of that card thats even FASTER!!

But yeah go for the X850 XT PE - it's the best ATI card out at the moment... Definatly get it.

kk I will talk about the graphics cards, later on when he gives me the rest of the money :) Ordered them costing £755 :)

I have ordered -
480W PSU
4000 AMD
Motherboard
80MM fan
2 X 512 MB

I thinks that's all ?! lol :)

Can't wait to start building :)

Have another person waiting for me to build them a pc too now ! Woo !
