Bugcheck

I have a 2000 machine, keeps shutting down on its own. The
folowing is in the event viewer, any ideas.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x00000051 (0x0000000c, 0xc0000005, 0xbed879dc,
0xbed87634). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195].

Is it always a Stop 0x00000051, or are there other stop codes logged in the
system event log?

What Service Pack is installed on this machine?

This article describes something very similar to your problem, and there is
a fix for this in Service Pack 4.
