BSOD on shutdown

Client with Sony Viao gets following error when shutting down or restarting:

STOP: 0x0000008e
(0xc0000005, 0x805271eb, 0xeb4dd7c4, 0x00000000)
Contact your IS staff, etc.... (no .dlls or .exes referrenced)

This happens after system has exited the Desktop and is at the "Windows is
shutting down" message.

Any ideas? Unit is a VGN-AX580G. Was working OK until a few days ago. No
new s/w has been installed.

Did you check the other link? Did you look at Event Viewer?
