I'm running Windows XP Home Edition and have recently noticed that on
shutting down my PC, just at the point of close down where I expect the PC to
switch off, the BSoD appears with the following error message:
"A problem has been detected and Windows has been shutdown to prevent damage
to your computer.
IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0X0000000A (0X00000000, 0X00000001C, 0X00000001,
0X804FAE14.........................."
The PC will suually shut off immediately I press the power button. On
Restart the PC acts as if nothing i wrong i.e no scan disk etc. Any ideas how
I can fix this problem?
I have tried a system resotre to a time before this ocurred and have all the
latest updates.
Thanks
